Elizabeth Beilman joined the Utah Symphony and the Grant Park Orchestra in 2015 and this year serves as Acting Associate Principal Violist of the Utah Symphony. Previously the Principal Violist of the Sarasota Orchestra, she has been heralded as “a violist of exquisite tone and musicianship” by the Sarasota Observer. Ms. Beilman was awarded the President’s Prize at the 2013 Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition and has appeared as soloist with the Sarasota Orchestra, Burbank Philharmonic, and Dearborn Symphony. Her principal teachers include Heidi Castleman and Hsin-Yun Huang at The Juilliard School and Donald McInnes at the USC Thornton School of Music.
